As a fellow perimenopausal women, I know that that fifth cup of coffee isn't going to get rid of unwanted brain fog or give you the energy to get through your day.

You want to be able to think straight. And, you'd love to be able to sleep through the night so you have the energy to get through the day. 

But, even though you've ditched your phone at night, it's just not happening. Between the brain fog and weight gain, you feel out of control.

"Is this going to be what it's like for the rest of my life?" is what you ask yourself every morning.

I have been a coach for over a decade, and one missing piece of the puzzle I’ve noticed since my early 20s is a lack of focus on women’s health and personalized coaching for our unique needs. I struggled with painful periods, birth control that made me feel sick, and hormone swings that could scare a bear in my 20s. Now, in my late 30s, it’s all coming back because—well—perimenopause. The struggles in my 20s led me to pursue my kinesiology degree, and the struggles in my 30s led me to earn my women’s health and menopause coaching certifications.

Supporting women through perimenopause has often been overlooked—or just plain sloughed off—because it can be uncomfortable to talk about or complex to figure out. I’ll never forget a client check-in I had a few years ago, when she said, “Wow, you really aren’t afraid to talk about this stuff! It’s usually really uncomfortable for me, but you are just nailing it.”

That’s when I realized that women not only need support in the gym, but also education and guidance around food, sleep, stress, hydration, movement, and training. We need well-rounded support that’s specific to our personal needs—because who wants to be told to “do it all” when we can barely manage the minimum?

I use a combination of simplified education, skill-building, and workout programming to help my clients get symptom relief, feel like themselves again, and finally feel confident when it comes time to ask their doctor the right questions.

My goal has been to take the system I normally offer to only 30 clients at a time accessible to all women who want to feel in control during perimenopause.
